The Character Forge: Navigations & In-Game Movement

Navigation, Locomotion, and In-game movement are various terms used to describe the basic movements of characters in a video game. The animators use these motion captured performances to create character realistic (and sometimes fantastic) movement, action, and navigation for their digital characters in video games and VR experiences. This class expands on what is learned in “Introduction to Motion Capture” and helps Action Actors, Stunt Performers, Creature Performers, and Athletes not only master these skills but understand what it takes to get the job and flourish in the world of Video Game Navigation Performance.
